In the workshop of the chocolate factory located at 90 rue de Maubeuge in Paris, Les copains de Bastien’s team produces chocolate from cocoa beans using a traditional craft method. To do so, they work with people who have endured difficult lives, some of whom have experienced life on the streets. Les Copains de Bastien supports them in finding a professional activity and trains them to become chocolate makers.
Our mission is to support people who are unemployed in their efforts to become integrated into society through work in the field of chocolate making.
In July 2021, Urban Signature is collaborating with Les Copains de Bastien and brings in the artists Ardif and Toctoc to paint directly on the walls of the chocolate factory. Since this summer, you can come and enjoy a slice of chocolate just a stone’s throw from the Gare du Nord (90 rue de Maubeuge 75010) while contemplating the works created by these two artists.
